13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

Hatutaki ninyi muelewe isivyo sahihi, enyi ndugu, juu ya hao waliolala, ili msije mkahuzunika kama wengine wasio na uhakika kuhusu wakati ujao. Iwapo tunaamini kuwa Yesu alikufa na akafufuka tena, vivyo hivyo Mungu atawaleta pamoja na Yesu hao waliolala mauti katika yeye.

Nous ne voulons pas, frères, que vous soyez dans l’ignorance au sujet de ceux qui dorment, afin que vous ne vous affligiez pas comme les autres qui n’ ont point d’ espérance. Car, si nous croyons que Jésus est mort et qu’ il est ressuscité, croyons aussi que Dieu ramènera par Jésus et avec lui ceux qui sont morts.
Tampoco, hermanos, queremos que ignoréis acerca de los que duermen, que no os entristezcáis como los otros que no tienen esperanza. Porque si creemos que Jesús murió y resucitó, así también traerá Dios con él á los que durmieron en Jesús.
Wir wollen euch aber, liebe Brüder, nicht verhalten von denen, die da schlafen, auf daß ihr nicht traurig seid wie die andern, die keine Hoffnung haben. Denn so wir glauben, daß Jesus gestorben und auferstanden ist, also wird Gott auch, die da entschlafen sind, durch Jesum mit ihm führen.
Mas não queremos que vocês fiquem sem saber, irmãos, o que acontece com os que adormeceram, para que não se entristeçam como os demais, que não têm esperança. Pois, se cremos que Jesus morreu e ressuscitou, assim também Deus trará com ele os que dormiram em Jesus.
