Faith Heals BiblePrivacy Policy
Faith Heals Bible ("we", "the app") lets you read scripture, listen to audio Bibles and, if you create an account, talk with Faith, an AI companion. This page explains what we collect, why, who helps us process it, and how you can delete it. We keep it short and specific on purpose.
What we collect
- Account details — your name, email address and a password (stored hashed by our account system) if you create an account, or your name and email from Google if you sign in with Google.
- What you save — highlights, notes, bookmarks, where you stopped reading, reading streaks and reading-plan progress, so they follow you between devices.
- Reminders and daily call — the times, days and time zone you choose, and a simple log of calls (when Faith rang and whether it was answered).
- Conversations with Faith — the questions you type and the answers you receive, which are sent to our AI provider to produce a reply. Faith is an AI and can be wrong.
- Voice on the daily call — while you are on a call, your voice is converted to text and Faith's reply is converted to speech by our speech providers. We do not store call audio or call transcripts. Captions you see during a call exist only on your screen.
- Notification token — an identifier for your device so reminders and calls can reach it.
- Reports you send — if you report an AI response, we keep the response and your note so we can review it.
- Basic technical data — standard server logs (IP address, time, request) kept briefly for security and abuse prevention. If enabled in a build, crash reports are sent without personal content.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent your personal data.
- We do not show advertising and do not use advertising identifiers.
- We do not build profiles of you for other companies.
Who processes data for us
We use these providers only to run the features you use:
- Google — Gemini (Vertex AI) to write Faith's replies, devotionals and verse artwork; Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver notifications; Google sign-in if you choose it.
- Deepgram — speech-to-text and text-to-speech on the daily call.
- Stream — real-time chat and calling infrastructure for Faith's messages and calls.
- Resend — sending account and reminder emails (only to verified addresses).
- Bible Brain / Digital Bible Platform — streaming audio Bibles. It receives standard request data, not your account.
- Our own servers — account system and database, and a network provider for DNS and delivery.
Why we use it
To provide the app: sync what you save, deliver reminders and calls, answer your questions, keep the service secure, and fix problems. We do not use your conversations to train models ourselves.
How long we keep it
Account data is kept until you delete your account. Deleting it removes your saved data, reminders, call schedule and history, quiz history, and your chat and call identity, immediately. Reports of AI responses are kept for review but disconnected from you. Server logs are kept for a short period, then discarded.
Your choices and rights
- Delete your account and data: in the app, go to You → Your data → Delete account. If you cannot open the app, see how to request deletion.
- Stop reminders or calls: turn them off in You → Reminders and Daily verse call.
- Notifications: switch them off in your device settings at any time.
- Depending on where you live you may also have rights to access, correct or export your data. Email us and we will help.
Children
Faith Heals Bible is not directed to children under 13, and accounts require you to be at least 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections and passwords are stored hashed. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password and keep your device up to date.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app.
