Is it free?
Yes, and it always will be. Faith Heals Bible is not a commercial product: there are no ads and no premium accounts. Reading, listening, search, highlights and verse cards are free, and Faith, the daily call and reminders need only a free account. Faith is shared under fair use, with generous limits so it stays available to everyone.
Will there ever be ads or a paid version?
No. There will never be ads or premium accounts. If you would like to help keep the work going, use the form in the “Free, and it stays free” section and we will write to you.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Faith Heals Bible runs in your browser at app.fhbible.com. You can also install it on Android, Windows and Linux from the download page. iOS and macOS apps are coming soon.
Can Faith get a verse wrong?
Faith looks up passages in the translation you are reading before quoting them, and removes any reference it cannot verify. Like any AI it can still be mistaken in how it explains a passage, so every reply has a Report button and Faith always points you back to the text. How Faith stays accurate.
How does the daily call work?
At the time you choose, Faith rings your device through the app, not a phone number. She says she is an AI, reads the day's verse slowly, and talks it over with you. You can hang up, or pause or stop the calls, at any time. Call audio and transcripts are not stored.
Which translations are included?
38 translations across many languages, from public-domain and openly licensed sources. Each one shows its own copyright notice.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Save a translation once (You, then Offline) and you can read it and search its words with no connection. Audio you download plays offline too. Faith and the daily call need a connection.
Do my highlights follow me?
Yes. Sign in and your highlights, notes, bookmarks and reading progress sync across your devices.
How do I delete my data?
In the app, go to You, then Your data, then Delete account. Everything saved with your account is removed straight away. You can also request deletion from the delete-account page.
