24 For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?
25 But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it .

26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

Kwa maana ni kwa taraja hili tuliokolewa. Lakini kitu kilichotarajiwa kikionekana hakuna taraja tena, kwa maana ni nani anayekitarajia kile akionacho? Bali tukikitarajia kitu tusichokiona, twakingojea kwa saburi.
Twalokolebwa lwa ssuubi eryo. Naye essuubi erirabibwa si ssuubi; kubanga ani asuubira ky’alabako? Naye bwe tusuubira kye tutalabako, tukirindirira n’okugumiikiriza.
Pamba te tosila kobika, kasi kobika yango ezali nanu elikya. Nzokande soki tozali komona eloko oyo tozali kotiela elikya, wana ezali lisusu elikya te, pamba te nani akoki kotia elikya na eloko oyo azali komona ? Kasi soki tozali kotia elikya na eloko oyo tozali komona te, solo tokozela yango na molende.
Car c’ est en espérance que nous sommes sauvés. Or, l’ espérance qu’ on voit n’ est plus espérance: ce qu’ on voit, peut-on l’ espérer encore? Mais si nous espérons ce que nous ne voyons pas, nous l’attendons avec persévérance.
Porque en esperanza somos salvos; mas la esperanza que se ve, no es esperanza; porque lo que alguno ve, ¿ á qué esperarlo? Empero si lo que no vemos esperamos, por paciencia esperamos.
Denn wir sind wohl selig, doch in der Hoffnung. Die Hoffnung aber, die man sieht, ist nicht Hoffnung; denn wie kann man des hoffen, das man sieht? So wir aber des hoffen, das wir nicht sehen, so warten wir sein durch Geduld.
Porque na esperança fomos salvos. Mas a esperança que se vê não é esperança. Pois quem espera por aquilo que está vendo? Mas, se esperamos por aquilo que não vemos, com paciência o aguardamos.
